Kevin Catir

Hi, my name is Kevin Catir, owner of MyDot.Dog! I am originally from Portland, Maine. I moved to Dorchester in August of 2018 and have fallen in love with the neighborhood, as well as Boston, and knew that I wanted to make it home. In the past I have had many jobs, and none have been as fulfilling as this! I started working as a ski and snowboard instructor, manual screen-printing at Atlantic Sportswear for many years, before being promoted to the warehouse manager. Most recently, after moving to Boston, I worked in real estate at Coldwell Banker out of the South End office, bartended at Dorchester Brewing Company for three years and then was at Notch Brewing Company, all before deciding to take the leap and start MyDot.Dog!

 

I have loved and cared for many pets of all types growing up from dogs to guinea pigs, rabbits and fish! My current obsession is my adorable Mini-Bernedoodle named Peeves who you can see the likeness of on all of our branding! I have always liked hiking and being outdoors, a love engendered in me by my father, Stephen. This love of being outdoors and animals, as well as my background in the service industry, has led me to a career that I now truly wake up excited to do every day!
